Night, a building, the loot inside. Thieves come in off the street; guards walk the floor with torches. Press Train and the two crews teach each other, live, game after game. Every few thousand games a generation is kept: take over a thief or a guard and see how much better they got.
The learning is real: each crew is a small neural net trained by PPO in self-play in your browser's spare cores. The thieves see the guards and their torchlight; a guard sees only what its torch lights, and hears footsteps close by and pebbles further off. Nothing either side does is scripted.
